Mondays & Saturdays our Digital Navigators travel to the
Denny Juvenile Justice Center (DJJC) Snohomish County to teach computer classes.
In 2022, Mindsight forged a collaboration with the Denny Juvenile Justice Center (DJJC), for their students to participate in computer classes at Mindsight Facility in Everett. In October 2023, we expanded this partnership and started dispatching our digital navigators to go onsite and teach computer courses for detained youth. We met some of the brightest youth with endless potential, all they need is a second and a third chance.
Our commitment and partnership deepened as we began offering computer programming classes on Mondays and Saturdays for the Juvenile Education Transition Program, Juvenile Education Transition Service (JETS), and the Program Alternative to Structured Sentencing (PASS).

In the days preceding onsite training at the Detention center, our Digital Navigators completed background checks and mandatory training.
Our partners took turns and provided us with comprehensive information about the program, the facility and related procedures.
