Mindsight Computer Hub Brikama
In July 2023, Mindsight mentors launched a Computer Training Hub Pilot in Brikama, the Gambia to assess the demand and provide opportunities for students in sub-urban areas to access technology. The center is situated near Brikama and is a convenient location for college students to use.
Knowing that rural Gambia often lacks such facilities, Mindsight plans to run a one-year pilot to evaluate the demand and impact of such a facility, conduct impact assessment and scale as appropriate.
Since it started, the hub has drawn more than 200 students to the center. A few students completed introduction to Microsoft word and were awarded certificates.

In February 2024, we hired a new Office manager. Since joining the team, Lamin Gibba has consistently exceeded expectations.
He successfully recruited 8 volunteer tutors, organized the certification ceremony, designed flyers, and established a comprehensive student database.
In February alone, over 51 students utilized the center and participated in its educational programs.
The Office hours at the center are from Mondays to Saturdays- 10am to 5pm
