Computer Skills Training
In today's digital world, computer literacy is essential. Our hands-on training program equips students with the technology skills needed to succeed in school, work, and everyday life.

One-on-One Mentoring
Our flagship program pairs each student with a dedicated mentor for weekly 1-hour sessions. Matches are made thoughtfully based on shared interests, goals, and personality — not just availability.

Denney Juvenile Justice Center
We partner with Snohomish County Denny Juvenile Justice Center and the Snohomish County YES Program to bring education and mentorship directly behind detention walls. Our team travels on-site to teach classes and build meaningful connections with youth who need support most.

Yes, 100%. All MindSight Mentors programs are completely free for students. We are a nonprofit funded by donations, grants, and community partners. Financial need is never a barrier to participation.
We serve students ages 12–22. Priority is given to first-generation college students, students from low-income households, and students from underserved communities — but all students are welcome to apply. We do not discriminate based on race, gender, ability, religion, or any other characteristic.
Most students are matched with a mentor within 1–2 weeks of completing their application. Our team carefully reviews each application to ensure the best possible match based on goals, interests, and availability.
We offer both virtual and in-person options depending on location and preference. Virtual sessions make our programs accessible to students regardless of geography or transportation challenges.
Absolutely! Many students participate in multiple programs — for example, working with a one-on-one mentor while also attending computer skills training or life skills workshops. We encourage students to take advantage of everything we offer.
